The Busted Transmitter campaign

While we carefully and regularly maintain all our equipment, unfortunately, high moisture levels at our Saddleback Mountain transmission facility have caused serious corrosion and other damage to the point where our main transmitter went ‘bang’… very loudly… a number of times 🙂 and our backup (which Noah gave to us after he had finished with it on the Ark) just couldn’t cope anymore.

(backup transmitter is on the left, and our main transmitter [back in the days when it worked] is the green/aqua boxes)

We are currently loaning a transmitter from a very helpful and generous Christian station in regional NSW – otherwise we would not be on the air!

Pulse 94.1 is proudly supported by:

(loaner transmitter! Very grateful for this… )

We are seeking to raise an additional $25,000 this June Appeal to cover the costs of:

  • Dehumidification equipment
  • repairs to our main transmitter
  • purchase a backup transmitter
  • inspection of our transmission antenna which is displaying some surface rust

Thanks for your support! You enable Pulse to speak life through word and song to the Illawarra and Shoalhaven, and through this project we will ensure the continued reliability of that signal across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven.
