Sea Lion Jumps On Moving Boat For Free Fish

When this sea lion spotted the opportunity for a free feed, he didn’t waste anytime. In a remarkable video that’s going viral on Facebook, a lady was throwing fish off the back of a moving boat to the local wildlife.  A sea lion who was swimming past and is obviously quite relaxed around people and boats, decided to jump up onto the back of the boat so the lady could hand feed him fish personally.

What do you think of this event? Are we allowing wildlife to become too tame? Is it an accident waiting to happen for both people and the animal?

This isn’t the first video we’ve spotted of people getting a little too close to local wildlife. A few months ago this video went viral of a man swimming with, hugging and hand feeding two alligators.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));
